How to Get Help in Koursely: Docs, AI Assistant & Support Tickets
Three ways to get unstuck fast — search this documentation, ask the AI Creator Assistant, or open a support ticket.
Whenever you're stuck setting something up, there are three places to look, roughly in order of speed: search these docs, ask the AI Creator Assistant a direct question, or open a support ticket if you need a human.
1. Search the Docs
The docs you're reading right now (at /docs) cover setup, integrations, and troubleshooting for every module in Koursely. Use the search page to find articles by keyword rather than browsing categories — most setup questions ("how do I connect Razorpay," "why won't my domain verify") are already answered here.
2. Ask the AI Creator Assistant
The AI Creator Assistant, available from your admin dashboard, is built specifically to help with course planning and content tasks — generating a course outline from a topic, drafting lesson descriptions, or suggesting a module structure. It is not a general product-support chatbot; for "how do I configure X" questions, the docs and support tickets are more reliable. See How to Use the Koursely AI Creator Assistant for what it can do.
3. Open a Support Ticket
For account-specific issues (a payment that didn't settle, a domain that's stuck verifying, a bug you've hit) open a support ticket from your admin dashboard.
- Go to Support in your admin sidebar and click "New Ticket."
- Choose a category that matches your issue and write a clear subject and description — include what you expected to happen and what actually happened.
- Attach a screenshot if relevant; this speeds up diagnosis significantly for anything visual (a broken layout, an error message).
- Set a priority level that reflects real urgency — this helps triage, but isn't a guarantee of response time.
- Track replies and add follow-up messages directly on the ticket thread.
Before opening a ticket: search the docs first for setup and "how do I" questions — you'll usually get an answer faster than waiting on a ticket reply, and tickets are best reserved for account-specific or broken-behavior issues.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a live chat option?
Support is handled through the ticketing system rather than live chat, so you can attach context (screenshots, course IDs) and get a traceable response thread.
Can my students submit support tickets too?
The support ticket system in your admin dashboard is for you, as the academy owner, to reach Koursely. Handling your own students' questions is a separate workflow — typically through your community channels or your own support process.
